Thomas C. Wilder

President and CEO

Tom joined Sequent in February 2010. From 2006 to 2009, Tom served as President and Chief Executive Officer of PhotoThera, Inc., a privately-held medical device company focused on developing transcranial laser therapy (TLT ) for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke. From 2002 to 2006, Tom served as President and Chief Executive Officer of MicroTherapeutics Inc., a publicly-held medical device company focused on neurovascular technologies. Micro- Therapeutics, Inc. was merged into ev3, Inc. in January 2006. From 1991 to 2002, Tom served at Medtronic Inc., most recently as Vice President and General Manager of its endovascular stent grafts division. During his tenure at Medtronic, he also held a variety of positions at U.S. and international locations, including Hong Kong, Belgium and The Netherlands. Tom earned a B.A. from Stanford University and a M.M. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Tom also serves on the boards of Endologix, Inc. and Benvenue Medical, Inc.
